Cash For Clunkers Out of Gas

Can you believe it? Of course you can it is another government program so well thought out it did not last a month. Giving cash for trade-ins that only increased by 5-10mpg was ReDickolous.

First there should have been a minimum 30mpg average required for the new car. Second there should have been a required US content on the replacement car. Third....who knows but believe me the government does not know

UN Wants Another Billion

Today the Secretary-General of this most corrupt organization announced that they would need One Billion dollars to stockpile vaccine supplies for poor countries to fight the swine flu. What was not announced was how much of the One Billion would actually go to the medical supplies and how much would go to bribes and other compensations in these poor countries.

Why so cynical? Because if you look at other humanitarian aid projects administered by the United Nations one can see a prior history of similar events. Now to be fair if the same program was administered by the US government one could only guess if it would be any better. My guess.....NOT.
