How Creative Can We Get
Just scan the news from day to day and see how creative government and taxing authorities are getting to levy new taxes on us. Some times they don't call them taxes but we know better.
Oregon floated one out there where they were going to install some sort of GPS chip on your car and keep track of miles driven on Oregon roads and tax you accordingly. This isn't Big Brother this is Giant Brother.
Detroit is floating one to tax fast food to raise millions. This one is specially good since they tax the inner cities and the people who could afford two cents a dollar less than any others. They did not tax sales at Nordstrom only BK and Mac.
Sales on the internet have been sent up for a trial balloon only to burst in mid air from most.
Los Angeles wants to tax home based business not only for the business licenses but on their income.
Why all of these creative methods being investigated. Because people out there are asking for more and more government. Big government is the enemy. We don't need more taxes we need less. We don't need more government we need less. People, you have to take some responsibility for the things you do or don't do in life. If things don't go as you thought they should don't turn to government to solve your problems.
