What A Waste!

THROW AWAY ADMINISTRATION

Isn't it a shame that this Republican majority administration continues to waste its capital on non-issues while ignoring not only fellow Republicans but on many issues the majority of Americans.

President Bush went out campaigning for his Social Security reform for private accounts while the majority of Americans are opposed to them. Kind of reminds me of when FDR went to the people so he could pack the Supreme Court. He lost not only his idea but lots of political clout with his stubborn stand on a dead issue.

President Bush continues to cow-tow to Mexico and ignores most Americans who are calling on him to do what he took an oath to do. That is protect our borders.

While as a party they should not be bullied by the opposition his party's stance on defending DeLay at all costs. I am not advocating leaving DeLay out there swinging in the breeze but there are more important issues.

So what are the accomplishments of this administration? Do they as Speaker Gingrich had have a contract with America? Not hardly. They made a defiant stand on a poor brain dead women.

This administration needs to get its act together and quickly. Mid-term elections have a way of balancing things out and this one coming could be more than a balancing act but could tip the scales to the other side decisevly. President Bush needs to show some leadership on major issues. Not non-issues.

Americans want our borders protected and we want our budget brought under control. We want innovative thinking and leadership from this administration or it will all be just a big waste of 4 years.
